Sleepaway Sports Camp in Upstate NY
Jump into the Upstate New York Finger Lake region at Signature Sports’ Sleepaway Lacrosse & Field Hockey camp at Keuka College. We love this location because it’s a tight-knit campus right on Keuka Lake (have you been to the Finger Lake Region in the summertime? Enough said). Not to mention, this campus is a quick hour away from Rochester, Ithaca, and Syracuse airports.

Elevate Your Lacrosse & Field Hockey Game This Summer
Signature Sports Camps offer a unique blend of the classic summer sleepaway camp experience with dedicated lacrosse and field hockey programs. On the field, athletes have the opportunity to learn from top-tier Professional Coaches in lacrosse and field hockey, as well as our seasoned Resident Coaches, who boast collegiate backgrounds in their respective sports.
Sports Camps Offered in New York
Lacrosse
(Session I & II)
In the lacrosse track, our coaching staff are specialists in every position, including niche roles such as goalie, ensuring targeted and expert training. We elevate each athlete’s performance by organizing players into instructional groups based on skill level, age, and gender. This approach allows us to provide focused, high-quality training in fundamental skills, positional skills, competition, gameplay, and lacrosse IQ, ensuring that each athlete receives personalized coaching to enhance their skills and expertise in the game.
Field Hockey
(Session I)
Our field hockey program works hand-in-hand with Keuka College’s Field Hockey program and staff. Together, we implement a curriculum that challenges each player while reinforcing fundamentals and game IQ. Field Hockey players are divided into groups based on skill level and age for instructional stations, gameplay, demonstrations, and Q&A’s. Resident Coaches are experts in each position and trained to implement the Signature programming, while Professional Field Hockey players from Team USA headline select sessions throughout Camp. Signature Campers Learn From The Pros

Sleepaway Camp Activities - At Sports Camp!
At Signature Sports Camps, players elevate their game on the field AND participate in traditional sleepaway camp activities that are unique to the region. Let’s explore a few of our favorite off-field activities at our Upstate New York camp location:
Lakefront Water Sports
We have direct access to Keuka Lake right on campus! Each day, campers jump into the lake to cool off after sports sessions. We swim, paddleboard, kayak, and bounce off the lily pad.
Ropes Course
Keuka College offers a high and low ropes course that our campers have access to! We work group challenges to the complexity of the ropes course, encouraging teamwork to achieve the goals of the course.
S’mores at Point Neamo
Curl up around the campfire right on Point Neamo, overlooking the lake, and roast marshmallows with your new camp friends. It’s August in Upstate New York: the temperature drops each night for perfect hoodie weather around the campfire.
Canteen in the Oak Room
The Oak Room is the perfect place for our nightly Canteen time (which means camp store and free time). The Oak Room has endless board games, pool tables, ping pong tables, and a basketball hoop.
Movie Night
The first night of camp brings a movie night with endless fresh popcorn, featuring a funny sports movie that resonates with campers of every age.
Camp Kickball & Sports Shark Tank
A staple of each Signature Sports Camp is the camp-wide kickball and Sports Shark Tank evening activities. Coaches hop into the games and kick up the competition to make these activities ultra-competitive and fun.

Questions About Sleepaway Camp? We Have Answers!
We cap this camp at 100 campers per session before waitlisting campers. We recommend locking in your spot for the upcoming summer session as soon as possible, as spots fill up fast!
Signature Sports Lacrosse and Field Hockey Camps have programming planned for all experience levels. If you are new to Lacrosse or Field Hockey, our coaches will teach you the basics and progress you with your own group of similar players.
If you are an advanced player looking to be challenged, we have an awesome development program for you and we will group you with similar players to your skill set.
All of our coaches currently play or have played at the Collegiate level, and are experts in their positions. We utilize a player development model that is specifically designed to advance players in a camp setting and work with the coaches during the Coaches' Orientation to design a thoughtful curriculum based on what skills they specifically bring to the table. We staff coaches of all positions, even specialty positions like goalie and face-off/draw. Once we hit the field, we group players by skill and age so they can be with similar players who will challenge each other and raise the level of play.
Not at all! We offer a 30% discount for our commuters that live locally. Commuter camp will include breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the full experience (minus the bunking) that our overnight camp offers. Commuters are dropped off before breakfast at 8:30am, and are picked up after the evening activity at 9pm.
Use the discount code COMMUTER at registration to be prorated for the commuter experience and automatically be placed in the commuter program.
We offer a 10% discount on each registration for siblings. You will see this discount automatically applied at registration.
For groups or team discounts, we offer $150 off per camper for groups of 3+ and $250 off per camper for groups of 5+. Please reach out to director@overnightsportscamps.com to generate your team or group discount.
We request that you note food and dietary restrictions during registration, and we work with the campus dining team to ensure that all food is labeled accordingly. We also ensure that campers with food restrictions have options to select from that match their dietary needs. For our pickier eaters, campus dining teams will present multiple options available for each pallet. In a typical dinner, campers will have access to 1-2 variations of a full meal (consisting of protein, veggies, and grains), in addition to supplemental options like pizza, pasta, chicken nuggets, etc.
We do not restrict phone and technology access, but we do limit it. Campers are allowed to have their phones in their dorms and before bed. We request that campers do not bring their phones to activities, meals, or on the field. To enjoy the full camp experience, we recommend campers do not bring phones, but they are always able to set up a Facetime home using a counselor’s phone. We actually see that the more access a camper has to their phone, the worse the homesick feeling can be.
