Sports Camps Offered in New York

Lacrosse
(Session I & II)

In the lacrosse track, our coaching staff are specialists in every position, including niche roles such as goalie, ensuring targeted and expert training. We elevate each athlete’s performance by organizing players into instructional groups based on skill level, age, and gender. This approach allows us to provide focused, high-quality training in fundamental skills, positional skills, competition, gameplay, and lacrosse IQ, ensuring that each athlete receives personalized coaching to enhance their skills and expertise in the game.

Field Hockey
(Session I)

Our field hockey program works hand-in-hand with Keuka College’s Field Hockey program and staff. Together, we implement a curriculum that challenges each player while reinforcing fundamentals and game IQ. Field Hockey players are divided into groups based on skill level and age for instructional stations, gameplay, demonstrations, and Q&A’s. Resident Coaches are experts in each position and trained to implement the Signature programming, while Professional Field Hockey players from Team USA headline select sessions throughout Camp.

Questions About Sleepaway Camp? We Have Answers!

How many campers attend the Signature New York Overnight Camp?

We cap this camp at 100 campers per session before waitlisting campers. We recommend locking in your spot for the upcoming summer session as soon as possible, as spots fill up fast!

Can I sign up if I don’t have any lacrosse or field hockey experience?

Signature Sports Lacrosse and Field Hockey Camps have programming planned for all experience levels. If you are new to Lacrosse or Field Hockey, our coaches will teach you the basics and progress you with your own group of similar players.

If you are an advanced player looking to be challenged, we have an awesome development program for you and we will group you with similar players to your skill set.

Is this a good program for advanced players?

All of our coaches currently play or have played at the Collegiate level, and are experts in their positions. We utilize a player development model that is specifically designed to advance players in a camp setting and work with the coaches during the Coaches' Orientation to design a thoughtful curriculum based on what skills they specifically bring to the table. We staff coaches of all positions, even specialty positions like goalie and face-off/draw. Once we hit the field, we group players by skill and age so they can be with similar players who will challenge each other and raise the level of play.

Do I have to stay overnight if I live nearby?

Not at all! We offer a 30% discount for our commuters that live locally. Commuter camp will include breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the full experience (minus the bunking) that our overnight camp offers. Commuters are dropped off before breakfast at 8:30am, and are picked up after the evening activity at 9pm.

Use the discount code COMMUTER at registration to be prorated for the commuter experience and automatically be placed in the commuter program.

Do you offer discounts for siblings or groups?

We offer a 10% discount on each registration for siblings. You will see this discount automatically applied at registration.

For groups or team discounts, we offer $150 off per camper for groups of 3+ and $250 off per camper for groups of 5+. Please reach out to director@overnightsportscamps.com to generate your team or group discount.

What if my child has food restrictions?

We request that you note food and dietary restrictions during registration, and we work with the campus dining team to ensure that all food is labeled accordingly. We also ensure that campers with food restrictions have options to select from that match their dietary needs. For our pickier eaters, campus dining teams will present multiple options available for each pallet. In a typical dinner, campers will have access to 1-2 variations of a full meal (consisting of protein, veggies, and grains), in addition to supplemental options like pizza, pasta, chicken nuggets, etc.

Are phones allowed at camp?

We do not restrict phone and technology access, but we do limit it. Campers are allowed to have their phones in their dorms and before bed. We request that campers do not bring their phones to activities, meals, or on the field. To enjoy the full camp experience, we recommend campers do not bring phones, but they are always able to set up a Facetime home using a counselor’s phone. We actually see that the more access a camper has to their phone, the worse the homesick feeling can be.
