Going to an overnight sports camp with your teammates is very exciting! When you’re together for a week at camp you’re building deeper friendships and trust that translates to chemistry on the field. Not to mention, as you spread the word and get more friends and teammates onboard for camp, you can earn perks and discounts as an Ambassador within the Referral Program. We are here to break down Signature Sports Camps’ referral program and how to get the most as an Ambassador.
What Is the Signature’s Overnight Sports Camp Referral Program?
The Signature Sports Camps Referral Program (or Ambassador Program, as it’s commonly referred to) celebrates the parents and campers who are spreading the word about our camps. We know how busy parents are, and we also know you go out of your way to help us spread the word about our Overnight Sports Camps. We celebrate our camp parents who go the extra mile in a few ways: whenever we ask parents to send out a flyer or tell their team about our camps, we make sure there’s a special gift for your camper when he or she arrives at camp. This might be a special version of the camp shirt that designates them as an Ambassador, or it could be a special celebration like a pizza party for the children of our Ambassadors at camp.
If you want to start racking up credits for next year’s camp session, ask our Camp Director to make you a family discount code! These discount codes give your friends and teammates $50 off their camp experience and tracks code uses for your credits. For every use of a family discount code, the family gets a $100 credit that goes onto their account for next year’s enrollment.
Who Can Become an Ambassador?
Anybody! When you enroll your child in Camp, you’ll get access to your Parent Dashboard. Parents can fill out a quick form there to get a family discount to track these credits! Ambassadors also get access to flyers, graphics, and are the first to hear updates about camp like Professional Headliners who are signing and the upcoming excursions we are locking in for the upcoming summer.
One note: a family discount code cannot be stacked with a group discount code. Separate to family discounts, we also offer group discounts for groups of 3+ or teams of 5+ campers. To learn more about group discounts and siblings discounts, check out the information here.

If you’re excited to go to camp with your friends and teammates, the Referral Program was pretty much made for you. We saw how much fun teammates were having together at camp and wanted to build a program to support parents who are trying to spread the word. We get our Ambassadors everything they need: from flyers for team chats to graphics for social media. Our Ambassadors also have our Camp Director’s phone number, so they can share with their team for further questions.

Alright, you’re interested, that’s awesome! Let’s get you a quick “Best Practices Guide” so we can make the most of your time and get the most campers for your time. We’ve seen our best and top-performing Ambassadors employ these strategies:
- Drop the Flyer in your Team’s Chat with a testimonial
- Ask your Coach or Program Director to email the flyer and website out to your program
- Get your camper to hand out flyers to their teammates
- Add a graphic or social media post to your Instagram story with the link to register
- Drop the flyer into Facebook groups you’re a part of with a testimonial
- Make a post in your neighborhood group or app
The key is in the testimonial! People want to know why you chose to sign your kids to this sports camp over the rest.
