Signature’s Full-Day Summer Sports Camps
Not quite ready for the Overnight Sports Camp experience? Let’s get your feet wet with our Day Camp Program at Signature Sports Camps. Our Day Camp options are designed for youth athletes aged 6-11. The Signature Day Experience offers sports tracks in Lacrosse, Soccer, Volleyball, Flag Football, and ‘All Sports’. Day Camp Programming is still coached with the same level of activation, intensity, and passion that we provide our Overnight Campers – just without the overnight aspect.
Our Commitment to Your Camper’s Safety & Success
Signature Sports Camps are accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA), ranking Signature in the ‘Top 25%’ of camps in terms of safety, health, wellness, programming, and facilities. While at camp, your family can expect:
- 24/7 Dedicated Staff: Each Signature Sports Camp location has a Locational Director, Assistant Directors for each sports track, and a dedicated Day Camp Leader. In addition to our full-time directing staff, we have a Camp Nurse, Athletic Trainers, and Expert Coaches dedicated to the health and well-being of your camper.
- Expert-Level Coaching: Coaches at Signature Sports Camps aren’t only experts in their position and their sport (many having collegiate AND coaching experience coming into camp), they are also the best role models we can find for your athlete. We ensure coaches are set up to not only coach, but also mentor.
- Proven Safety Protocol: The ACA mandates about +275 standards in safety, supervision, and programming are in place (and upheld) to remain ACA-Accredited. Our staff goes through extensive training to ensure that each camper is supervised, engaged, and happy with us at Signature Sports Camps.
Inside the Signature Day Camp Routine
So what’s a ‘day in the life’ of a Day Camper here at Signature Sports Camps? A lot happens between 9:00 AM Drop-off and 5:00 PM Pick-Up. Think of this example as a playbook, not a promise. If weather or programming updates change things, we will sub in an activity that keeps the same intent, whether it be fun, adventure, or sports development.
If you’re joining us for early drop-off and breakfast, your day starts a little earlier than the rest with an 8:15 AM drop-off. For our campers who opt out of Breakfast, we will see you at 9 AM!
From about 9:30-11:30 AM each day, we are in our sports tracks training. Day 1, we start with speed, agility, and fundamentals. Coaches are observing each camper’s skill set to determine the best training group for them (beginner, intermediate, and advanced). We want each athlete to be in the best place to develop and push past their comfort zone, in a fun and encouraging way. And yes, we can make sure friends are placed together!
Time to enjoy the endless options at the Cafe! You can enroll in the “Lunch Package” and get access to the cafe, or bring a bagged lunch from home. Either way, we will take a minute to get out of the sun and refuel.
Time to cool off! Each location at Signature Sports Camps offers something unique: cool off at the pool in Florida, jump into the Lake in New York, swim to floating docks in Tennessee, or paddleboard around the lake in New England. In this block, we try to make sure the campers are cooled off and have a break from the field. Depending on the location, you might even go off campus on a camp trip!
While our morning sessions are typically focused on small group training, skills, drills, and exciting competitions, our afternoon sessions are spent in scrimmages and game-like scenarios. Coaches are IN IT - hands-on, demonstrating, and playing right alongside your athlete to keep the energy up as the afternoon heat hits!
Awe no, is it already time to leave? Pick-up happens at 5PM each day, except for Fridays which is early release day at 12PM. Did we mention that Fridays are also our tournament days? Mornings are spent in small-sided tournaments to close out the week on a high note (these tournaments are LEGENDARY at Signature).
What Sets Signature Apart from the Rest?
Not only do you get sports training from expert coaches and the fun of summer camp… all in one camp, we throw in so much more:
Learn from the Pro’s
Signature hosts Professional Athletes in each sports track! These Pro’s stop by for one special day per session to inspire the next generation. Between small group training, big demonstrations, a Q&A, and 1-1 time spent with the Pro’s off the field, this is one of the favorite parts of each camper’s week.
Camp Trips & Excursions
One day per session is spent doing something SPECIAL! In Tennessee, we take a trip to hike and swim in waterfalls, in New York we visit Watkins Glen State Park for a guided tour of the gorges and falls, and in New England and Florida, we bring the special activity right to camp: in Florida, that’s paddlboarding through mangroves on the beach on campus and in New England, that might be tubing through the Lake right in the New Hampshire White Mountains.
A Balanced Schedule
We like to balance on-field training with off-field summer fun. We know how burnt out kids get when it’s 24/7 training. So expect camp traditions, games, crosstraining, and loads of laughs in between sports training. Parents love Signature because they don’t have to choose between a summer camp and a sports camp!
Day Camp Pricing & Packages
Day Camp at Signature starts at $325, which gets you 5 days of camp memories on and off the field. During the enrollment process, you will find additional options for early drop-off & breakfast, lunch package at the Cafe, and late pick-up & dinner.
Why Parents and Athletes Love Signature
Frequently Asked Questions
Our Day Camp serves ages 6-11 years old, both boys and girls. This is slightly different than our Overnight option, which serves kids 8-17 years old. In most circumstances, campers are separated into age and skill groups for training on the field.
Nope! We can start from the basics and work up to proficiency. We ensure each camper is in the right training group for their age and skill level. Our beginners are in a comfortable environment for learning and falling in love with the game, our intermediate players are in the right group to master skillsets and grow, and our advanced athletes are pushed beyond their comfort zone through encouragement and demonstration.
Yes! Our typical day camp hours are 9-5PM. Families can opt in for early dropoff (which also comes with a breakfast in the Cafe for your child) at 8:15AM. Families can also opt in for a late pick up (which also includes dinner in the cafe for your child), at 7PM. So for our families who opt in for both early drop-off, and late pick-up, your child will be at camp from 8:15-7PM.
Not a problem - we can accommodate that! We will work with your child to make sure he/she gets time in both sports, gets training from both of the Pro’s that are headlining that week, and truly gets the best of both worlds. During enrollment, choose your child’s primary sport, and shoot an email to director@overnightsportscamps.com noting the other sports track your son/daughter would like to join. We will make a note in your account!
We can give you the high-level idea here, but remember that we have a Welcome Packet in your Parent Dashboard (after you register) that has a detailed checklist (as well as everything else you need to be prepared for camp!). In general, campers need the basics like water bottles, sunscreen, and big spray… equipment for their sport (equipment is NOT provided - you need everything you’d typically bring to practice), and extra clothes / the necessities for swimming (& changing into a fresh set of practice clothes after you’re wet from the pool or lake!).
